What's New πŸš€

Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy platform, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.

Events & Shift Upgrades

Our teams have been working hard to overhaul the Events & Shifts experience within Rosterfy. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the recent in product survey about Events & Shifts, you have helped shape the changes that are coming.

This release will see those upgrades continue, but there is still lots to come in the following releases.

Event Template Status

Although the status field has been removed when creating events, the status field has been reintroduced to the Events Template page.

Admins can now create templates for events and select whether the status is Unpublished or Published upon creation.

Note: The status that is selected for the template will override the selection made when creating the event.


​For example, if Unpublished is selected on the template and the admin selects Publish Event when creating the event, the event will still be Unpublished.

Same if the template is Published and the admin selects Save when creating the event with that template, it will be Published.


Bulk Actions Available for Events

We have also introduced additional bulk actions for events within the Actions Menu.

Admins can choose to Bulk Update, Bulk Publish or Bulk Unpublish their events, allowing for more efficient and accurate mass edits.

To access the Actions Menu, navigate to Events > Events, and select Actions.


User Profile Template Upgrades

We recently introduced an upgrade to the User Profile Template, we have now made additional upgrades to this template, with the introduction of the custom fields being automatically grouped into relevant tabs for both the form builder and the volunteer portal.


Minor Enhancements / Fixes β˜‘οΈ

A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the platform and are outlined briefly below.

Post Shift Feedback Form Ratings

We have refined the Admin Portal to ensure shift ratings are only displayed when a rating has actually been submitted.

If a user has not yet rated a shift, the field will appear blank, this provides a clean and accurate view.
