Form Templates Streamlined

This release introduces a new look to the Forms create page, with a streamlined view.

With the new look and feel, we have also updated the User Registration Form Template, with updated and reordered fields for a better user experience.

All the form types you know and love are still available, and can now be found by either clicking Show more form types, using the available dropdown list, or by using the search box available.

Ability to Print Forms

Admins are now able to add a dedicated Print Form button that will send the form, including values that have been entered into the form, to a print job.

Clicking the Print Form button, will open the browser print screen.

To add this button to a form, follow these simple steps:

  1. In the admin console, navigate to Forms > List.

  2. Search for, or locate the form you wish to update. Or click Create to create a new form.

  3. Within the new Form Builder, either search for Content and add it to the form, or navigate to the Extras section and add Content from there.

  4. In the Content Field pop-up, select Code View within the editor.

  5. Enter this code: <p><a class="btn btn-primary hide-from-print print-form-btn" href="#">Print Form</a></p>

We have introduced new Account Settings allowing admins to enable User Activities to be auto-approved.

Auto approve User Activities: User Activities will be auto-approved if this setting is set to Yes.

Auto approve User Activities less than duration of: Control which User Activities will be auto-approved based on the length of duration. If this setting is set at 0, all submitted activities will be auto-approved.

Note: All user activities will need to be submitted prior to the current time, as user activities are for reporting events that have already happened.

Note: It is important to note that users will only be able to submit a maximum of 5 activities per day, that auto-approve.
This limit has been put in place to prevent mass submission, and ensure it is not misused.

Minor Enhancements / Fixes β˜‘οΈ

A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the platform and are outlined briefly below.

Ability to Remove Confirmation Pop-ups for Resending Emails

We have removed the confirmation modal displayed to admins when they try to resend the email to a volunteer. This ensures that admins can have the same experience with resending messages, and notifications.

When selecting resend an email action, admins is still displayed with an email creation page.

Webhooks Available as Automation Actions

We have introduced Webhook as an automation action that allows admins to choose a destination from their list of configured Webhooks, and then add a custom code, that makes sense to each organisation, for example onboarding_complete.

Through automations, admins can trigger a Webhook based on a specific milestone for specific filtered scenarios, such as every Role offer user status changed to Accepted.

Automation Tasks Updates

We have introduced 2 new automation tasks related to Event - User Activities:

  • Event - User Activities Submit

  • Event - User Activities Update
