đ Note: The screenshots and settings shown in this article may not match what you see in your own platform, as Rosterfy is highly customisable. If you need guidance specific to your setup, please contact our support team.
If you need to create a new custom field that is similar to one you already have it can be duplicated or copied to another account. Copying a field carries over its core setup, reducing manual work and maintaining consistency across your platform. The Copy function allows you to replicate a custom field in two different ways:
Duplicate Locally: Open the custom field, make any necessary updates, and select Copy from within the field editor. This creates a version in your current account with (Copy) added to its name, allowing you to tweak settings or reassign its object type if needed.
Copy to an Account: Select Copy from the More Actions menu on the Custom Fields list to send the setup to another account. This allows you to share field configurations across account environments while keeping the original intact.
đĄTip: If the original custom field had a category assigned, you will need to reselect that category for the copied field.
