Overview

Items within Rosterfy can be added to bundles to allow administrators to easily allocate predefined groups of items to users. Saving time and effort for admins.

A Bundle Template outlines the specific items that administrators can include within a bundle, which will later be distributed to volunteers.

Bundles can be assigned to users through role offers or workflows, stock will be automatically deducted from quantity levels, when the bundle is packed, or distributed in barcode mode.

If an Item has variants, an admin or vendor has the ability to modify the variant allocated in a bundle, as required. (Provided the selected location holds stock for the replacement variant.)

This functions the same way as a pre-defined bundle, where sizes are specified via a custom form field—the selected size simply replaces the original.

For example, if Paul usually wears a Medium Jacket but it’s out of stock, the admin or vendor can allocate a Large instead. The system will then replace the Medium with the Large, as long as the Large size is available at that location.

Creating Bundle Templates

To create a Bundle Template follow these simple steps.

  1. In the admin console, navigate to Users > Rewards & Recognition.

  2. Swap to the Bundle Templates tab.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Name the bundle and then click Save.

  5. The items section will now show, click Add.

  6. Select the required items to be added to the bundle, this can include:

    Items with variants

    Items without variants

Multiple items of the same SKU

  7. Once all required items have been added, click Save.
