Setting Age Restrictions
Age restrictions can be set in a few areas within Rosterfy, at the organisation level, within specific Events and Event Shifts.
Organisation Settings
There are two organisation settings that control the age restrictions for your entire organisation, these are outlined below.
To update these settings, navigate to Settings > Organization Settings in the admin console and search for Age.
Minimum Age: The age set in years and months will determine the age a user has to be when attempting to register. An error message will be displayed to anyone below this age, when attempting to enter their date of birth.
Minimum Age by Date: Admins can set a date in this field, and users will need to meet the above minimum age requirement by this date.
Event / Event Shift Settings
Admins are able to set the age requirements on specific events or event shifts, that can differ to the age limits set at the organisational level.
To set the age requirements for a specific event / shift, navigate to the specific Event or Shift you would like to update, select More Actions > Update and swap to the Advanced tab.
After selecting Has Age Limit, two additional options will be displayed, and admins can complete either but not both.
Users that do not meet the required age or date of birth, will not be able to apply for the Event / Shift on the portal.
