Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy Mobile App, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.
Updates to Align with the Desktop Portal
Our team has been working hard to bring the Mobile App in line with the desktop Volunteer Portal, delivering a consistent experience for volunteers no matter how they choose to access Rosterfy.
Here are some of the latest alignments:
Volunteers can Apply to Shifts up until the End Time of the Shift
To ensure full alignment with the desktop portal, volunteers can now view and apply for shifts right up until the Shift End Time.
To enable this, admins will need to modify a setting within the Admin Console:
Navigate to Settings > Organization Settings.
Swap to the Events tab, either locate or search for Allow Applying to Shifts up to End Timestamp.
Toggle the Use Default? switch, and select Yes for the field, then click Save.
Event History tab Adheres to Terminology
Changes have been made for the Event History tab label on the Event History page now dynamically adheres to the terminology admins event in the Admin Console. This allows organisations to ensure total brand consistency.
Shift Rating Available in Post Shift Feedback Form
The Shift Rating field is now fully implemented in the Post Shift Feedback form,

App Accessibility Upgrade
We have been working hard on accessibility upgrades for the Mobile App and in this release we have implemented an upgrade to the Navigation Side Menu.
When opening the side menu, within the App, focus now shifts immediately to the Navigation Drawer rather than the whole screen. Improving the accessibility of the app.
Update to Mobile App Terms & Conditions
To keep the Rosterfy community safe, and ensure we're following the latest industry standards, we have refreshed our Mobile App Terms & Conditions. App users will be asked read and accept them when they create a new account, or next time they log in to their existing account.
Minor Enhancements / Fixes βοΈ
A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the platform and are outlined briefly below.
Update to Text Blocks
We have increased the line height of text blocks within Notifications, Event Descriptions, Shift Descriptions and Role Offers.
Increasing the line height will allow users to read text blocks easily, with less compressed text.
Date of Birth Discrepancy Corrected
We have resolved a discrepancy between the Mobile App and the Desktop Volunteer Portal, date of birth is now consistent across both platforms.
