Overview
Admins have the options to reset the sandbox environment to its initial state or refresh it with a copy of the live production configurations to continuously align testing scenarios with the latest setup.
For more information on the Sandbox Environment, check out the Sandbox - Overview article.
Reset vs Refresh
Whether you need to revert the changes you have made to your sandbox or align the environment with your live production, we have an option available to you.
Reset: A reset will revert the changes in the sandbox back to the last refresh, and wipe all changes made.
Refresh: A refresh will take a snapshot of your production site and copy it across to your sandbox environment.
Note: It is important to note that when a reset or refresh is triggered, it will impact all accounts within your organisation and all users.
Resetting the Sandbox

Click the Settings menu in the top right corner.
Select Reset Sandbox.
A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to verify that you wish to proceed with resetting the sandbox. When you are ready, click Reset Now.
A final prompt will confirm that the reset process has started. A five-minute countdown will begin before the reset commences, and all users currently logged into the sandbox will be notified. Click Ok to acknowledge and close the message.
