Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy platform, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.
New setting to prevent user interaction form re-submissions

A new setting is available within user interaction forms (user data collection form) that when enabled will prevent the form from being submitted.
When the user tries to access the form after initially completing it, they will not be able to save the form again, preventing any updates to the data captured.
💡How this helps:
This setting will help ensure data is not updated or removed after information has been collected as well as prevent any automations from potentially triggering more than once.
'Venue' can now be linked to Events/Shifts
Events and shifts can now have a venue assigned. This will allow permission roles to limit system access to a single venue, and therefore events/shifts within.
If an admin is given an advanced permission on their user profile limiting to a location or venue, then they can only see events / shifts and roles at that venue.
This is controlled via the access tab.
If using the account-role horizontal permissions, if there is a limit to venues, the same impact of only seeing events, shifts or roles at that venue is applied.
For events/shifts not using 'venues', a new ‘use custom address' field will appear to enter one-off address.
Inherit Shift Types to Sub-accounts

When selecting a Shift Type against a Shift, administrators will now be able to additionally see Shift Types that belong to the parent account. The shift types will be clearly grouped by the account that they belong to.
Ability to Search User Profile fields
A search bar has been added to the User Update page to allow administrators to search for fields in the user profile.

This feature will help administrators find what they are looking for faster.
Minor Enhancements / Fixes ☑️
A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the platform and are outlined briefly below.
Lite Admins can now cancel shifts
New permission under Event → Shift → Cancel will be available for Lite Admins
Preview Saved Filters
An option to edit/preview saved filters prior to selecting them has been added.
Ability to bulk update and export items
Administrators can now make changes in bulk or export inventory items.
